Operating as a bootstrap company, we pride ourselves on our tenacious, self-starter ‘if you don't know, get to know' attitude. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Email Marketing Manager to contribute to our exciting journey from the moment they step through our doors.
About the role:
As our Email Marketing Manager, you will improve on our highly successful email marketing campaigns and flows. You will take control of our email database, plan campaigns and flows and review the performance in order to optimise. Our customer and community is at the heart of everything we do, and the Email Marketing Manager will be able to reflect this within their strategy. We invest significantly into our acquisition, capturing a lot of customer information. This role is for someone hungry to dive into the world of data and performance marketing.
We are looking for someone with both design and analytical capabilities who loves crafting emails that resonate with our audience. You will enjoy working with our creative team who can supply regular fresh creative and you will love getting into the data to understand which emails are performing best and why. You are a marketer at heart and have a real passion for creating messaging that connects with customers. You will have the freedom and capacity to really own the role and make a real difference to the business and our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the email content plan, working closely with wider marketing team to ensure cohesiveness and coverage of key campaigns and product launches
- Scheduling, designing and writing engaging email campaigns
- Optimising, scheduling, designing and writing engaging flow emails (pre / post order etc.)
- Ensure all email communication is cohesive (sign up, order, delivery update etc.)
- Segmentation and optimisation of data
- A/B test campaigns
- Ensuring a seamless customer experience from acquisition through to retention in order to maximise lifetime value
- Consistent analysis of email performance and weekly reporting back to the wider team
- Ensure consistent use of the Six Stories brand
- Working with the wider team to establish wider CRM strategy for Six Stories
Essential Experience and Skills
- Ideally you will have 3+ years’ experience with email marketing, in an inhouse or agency role
- Experience of using an email service provide, such as Klaviyo or Sendlane is essential
- Track record in optimising email performance and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain and deliver insights, analytics and recommendations
- Good eye for design
- Numerate and articulate with high attention to detail
- Confident with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- An interest in the retail/fashion/wedding industry would be beneficial

Job Type: Full Time (Monday - Friday)
Salary: £30000 per year
