Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer - C/C++
Location: Weymouth, Dorset
Salary: up to £60,000 plus benefits
Job Overview:
Verso is retained to add strength and depth to an established leader in the development of custom electronic solutions, destined for a variety of industries. Based from modern Dorset offices, each project's variety and technical challenge is unique, offering an interesting and evolving way to apply your existing knowledge.
The aim of the role is to support the delivery on a new product currently being designed for their customers. The culture is collaborative and friendly, with ample opportunity to liaise with the engineering team, quality, projects, procurement, sales, and other departments, with occasional customer interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Take software design projects from concept to manufacture.
- Develop Embedded C/C++ software.
- Work with bare metal programming.
- Utilize real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Employ communication protocols (advantageous).
- Use electrical debugging tools proficiently.
The successful candidate will be offered hybrid working options but would need to commit to 3 days on site a week.
