Position: Embedded Software Engineer
Location of Office: Peterborough
Location of Work: WFH, Flexible Hybrid working available
Salary: Up to £60,000 + benefits
The Role: An opportunity has now been created for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our clients growing engineering team as they work towards the development of a new range of controller-based software solutions that will be used across Europe and the US. Their office is based in the Peterborough area whilst they offer a very flexible hybrid WFH policy.
Skills and Experience Required:
Embedded C or C++
Embedded microcontroller development - PIC, ARM, TI etc
Protocols including: CAN, RS232, RS485, USB etc
HNC/HND or degree in Engineering related subject
This will be a full lifecycle role and our client are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with several years industry experience of seeing projects through to completion including working through requirements analysis, specification, design, coding, debugging and documentation stages. You will be working in a small team and have the chance to make a real impact in the design and development of a range of industry leading products.
On offer is a strong salary of up to £60,000 plus benefits which includes a bonus of up to 10%, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, 7% pension contribution, flexible working from home and more.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Bluetooth or Zigbee protocols
CANopen, Modbus or Profibus protocols
Test driven development (TDD)
