Our client is one of the world's most successful media content and brand marketing firms. Listed in the US and with the EMEA HQ in London driving a very significant M&A strategy; we are seeking a technically exceptional Financial Controller. Leading a small team and working closely with the VP Finance EMEA and CFO EMEA; you will play a key role in shaping and transforming the financial reporting agenda for the region whilst providing exceptional advice and guidance to each of the market FD's across a variety of technical, operational and commercial accounting matters.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience & attributes:
- An accounting qualification with a minimum of 8 years PQE
- Proven technical accounting knowledge
- Good knowledge of IFRS/ US GAAP
- Experience of producing group financial statements and overseeing the year end audit process
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience in a large accounting practice or multinational organisation
- Confident relationship building skills, internally and externally
- Excellent communication skills
- An interest in creative industries or a background in media would be advantageous.
