Employment CaseworkerLocation: BrixtonSalary: £30,Please note that this role is on a 12 month Fixed Term ContractAs an Employment Case Worker on our Work and Health programme, you will be focused on providing employment support to individuals with a range of hurdles. You will encourage, support, and empower participants through their journey towards employment. You will manage a caseload of participants and will understand each participant's individuals needs to help plan the support they require to get back to work.Key responsibilities include: Building effective and positive relationships daily.Challenging your participants to identify and overcome any potential barriers and help put realistic targets in place for them to meet to ensure a sustainable outcome.Ensuring participants have an up to date and professional CV, supporting statement and covering letter, tailored appropriately for each application.Provide job search support, guiding participants to register on appropriate jobs boards and ensuring their digital profiles are up to date and visible to employers.Support participants in preparing for job interviews, conducting mock interviews and assessment activity.Meet all monthly performance targets and key performance indicators.Meet Commissioner Customer Service Standards by ensuring contractual compliance requirements are met through quality and effective notes and actions on our internal computer systemMaking the right connections with local services, through a multi-agency approach, to coordinate a focused package of support for each participantWorking from local hubs, and pop-up offices in your community or alongside integrated services to increase service accessibility Please note full training will be given if you are successful.Experience Required: Working in a fast paced, evolving environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs, including health conditions and disabilitiesAbility to build rapport with, inspire, motivate and challenge participantsWorking in a performance target driven environment, with KPIsYou can communicate, persuade, influence, and listen to others.You must be computer literate and be able to input data accuratelyYou must have a working knowledge of Microsoft tools e.g., Word and Excel.You must be able to follow processes and clearly articulate participants progress via our internal computer system As Ingeus, weve spent time listening to our employees to build our benefits package; 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays with the opportunity to salary trade extraEAP Support programme available 24/7 with access to 6 x counselling sessionsPrivate Medical InsuranceEyecare vouchers with help to purchase new glassesLife assuranceOnline discount shopping via Perks at WorkCycle to Work schemeSeason ticket loanUp to two days each year dedicated to Community Giving (Volunteering)Access to Salary Finance; financial education and adviceThe opportunity to buy extra perks such as, critical Illness Cover, dental insurance Ingeus helps governments, employers, and local partners design and deliver services to solve complex challenges caused by social and technological change.
