Job Description This is a remote position. Employment Lawyer up to 8PQE Remote (with occasional visits to office in Maidstone) £40,000 - £60,000   A genuinely remote role for an Employment Lawyer that likes to support clients of all sizes from corporate to SME.   Do you like variety? Is a mix of contentious and non-contentious work just your cup of tea?   This Employment Law, HR/ER advisory and training firm has just had an influx of investment and is anticipating significant growth which means massive career opportunities and the chance to make your mark.   We are looking for an Employment Lawyer up to 8 PQE to join a busy team, with a significant emphasis on Employment Tribunal litigation, and to help to support the expansion of the team and development of the Employment and HR practice.   You will get to be the lead client contact on most of your case load and will have multiple files and multiple client relationships with businesses of varying sizes. The work is varied and interesting, no two days will be the same.   You have the freedom to work independently, with the support of Senior Employment Lawyers where you need it.   There will also be an opportunity to provide support and guidance to more junior members of the Employment Law team and HR consultants and advisers.   You will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of employment law in connection such as day to day employment advice and contentious matters such as Employment Tribunal claims. Requirements The ideal candidate(s) would have experience of most of the following:   Employment Tribunal litigation, including drafting and responding to claims, witness statements, and advocacy (at the preliminary hearing stage at a minimum) Giving day to day employment and HR advice by telephone and in writing to managers, HR, and senior executives/Board level Drafting contracts, policies, and other employment related documentation Advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, and conducting investigations Conducting negotiations and drafting settlement agreements Experience of conducting training for clients and supervising more junior fee earners would also be beneficial, as would a strong focus on building client relationships and business development.
