Commercial law firm in London, listed in the directories for the work it does in Employment law is seeking to recruit two Employment lawyers – one of 0 to 2 and the other of 3 or more years’ PQE. The teams’ clients range from SME’s to PLC’s, local authorities, government departments and third-sector organisations and support them in complex multi-faceted investigations; large-scale restructuring; various forms of TUPE; insolvency implications for employees, industrial actions and employment tribunals/ civil court enforcement actions.
The team represents clients in Employment Tribunal claims from ACAS Early Conciliations right through to Appeal Hearings and Cost Applications, as well as mediations and other dispute resolution proceedings. They also provide clients with advice on a wide range of other Employment law matters, including employment status and associated rights, contracts and handbooks, redundancy and discrimination, as well as providing clear, decisive, commercial and sensitive HR support to clients and their in-house HR teams to ensure the safe and effective management of their workforce, including dealing with grievances, performance issues, sickness absence management and disciplinaries.
The successful candidates will undertake a wide range of contentious and non-contentious Employment matters, as well as assisting the wider team on larger matters. You will also receive excellent training and career progression opportunities in an inclusive environment.
The firm also has flexible, agile working patterns in place, with most people choosing to work 2-3 days a week in the office, with the balance of time spent working from home, from other offices, at court or client meetings.
