The role
We are seeking a vibrant Employment and Life Coach, temporary to March 2024, with a salary of £25,573 to join our small, friendly, and busy team, supporting local people to improve their lives, and focusing on Ongo tenants and their families.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and experienced in working with individuals and thrives on delivering a professional service and consistently achieving targets, and who is equally passionate about supporting a team of Ongo colleagues to make a real difference to peoples wellbeing and employment status.Enthusiasm, people skills and empathy are key to this role.
The successful candidate will have:
A relevant coaching/IAG qualification
Experience of providing life skills that, in turn, link to employment support services.
Understanding of the employment needs and difficulties of people who experience mental health problems and of supporting individuals to obtain and sustain employment.
The ability to make a comprehensive assessment of an individuals situation and needs
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (face to face, by telephone) and the ability to facilitate group training sessions to supports the needs of individual
