Leaders in Care UK has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Lead Theatre/Endoscopy Nurse to join our client's inclusive and welcoming team. This full-time Endoscopy Lead Nurse role is based in London and comes with a generous salary and benefits package.
The Lead Theatre/Endoscopy Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality Endoscopy care and, as appropriate, guiding the team. Care is provided according to the individual needs of the patient and Consultant. You will provide care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures and endoscopic services to Consultants.

Guiding the team to ensure adherence to the 5 steps to safe interventional procedures and the safe and efficient running of the list
Ensuring all equipment is checked prior to use and any faults are reported immediately
Effective management of resources within the department
Preparing patients for invasive procedures and providing initial urgent or emergency care as required
Participating in the education, training and development of other staff
To apply for this Lead Theatre/Endoscopy Nurse role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse with at least 3 years of experience in the role of a Lead Theatre Nurse. You will also require the following:
Endoscopy competence within a range of procedures
Competence in delivering a high level of endoscopy care
Good computer and numeracy skills
Flexibility in response to the needs of the department
The ability to deliver high levels of customer service to patients and Consultants
