Maintenance Engineering Manager – Chemical - COMAH
Huddersfield based
£75,000 - £85,000 plus benefits
We have partnered with a global client of ours who are looking for a Maintenance Engineering Manager on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will spearhead the cost-effective maintenance of site plant & equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations in alignment with business HSE and UK regulations as well as production demand.
This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £75,000 - £85,000 (dependent upon experience and qualifications) plus benefits.
Overview of the Maintenance Engineering Manager role:
- Lead a dynamic, multi-skilled team of engineering maintenance managers, asset engineers, planners and technicians to implement continuous improvement plans aimed at elevating asset effectiveness, operational efficiency, and HSE performance.
- Work in collaboration with relevant site departments and business functions to develop, implement, and enhance maintenance and engineering strategies to meet business needs, while optimizing cost and plant uptime.
Key skills and qualifications required for the Maintenance Engineering Manager role:
- A number of years’ experience in managing large maintenance teams/functions within chemical production on a large scale.
- Degree within a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical engineering etc)
- Engineering management and extensive leadership experience.
- Organisational Change Management experience.
