Job Description
I'm looking for a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join BAE Systems in Warton, Preston.
This is a hybrid-working role of 3 days per week required on site and you MUST be eligible for security clearance (SC) to be considered for this role.
What you'll be doing:
Working for the lead senior engineer, creating, and developing parts of the Engineering Operating framework and Governance Systems
Creating policies and processes to help reduce risk and improve program efficiency and effectiveness across the international engineering teams
Create and deliver several parts of the assurance framework and auditing plan
Deploying policies and processes across the engineering organisation
Supporting a culture of continuous improvement
Essential Skills:
Have a degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience
Have knowledge of Engineering Governance principles ideally gained from at least one project
Ability to travel (UK mainly with possible occasional international travel)
Desirable Skills:
Experience in working with at least one external Customer (e.g. UK MOD)
Experience tailoring and applying engineering processes, tools, and approaches to develop innovative and creative solutions, whilst meeting governance requirements
The salary is £47,683 to £52,426 plus an excellent benefits package.
