Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Engineering Manager role located in Southampton. As an Engineering Manager at Specialised Polymer Engineering Ltd, you will manage various engineering projects and oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions. Additionally, you will liaise with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring that engineering meets project delivery deadlines, and that project goals are met within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering role
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience higher in Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering a related field
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated expertise in design, development, and implementation of engineering projects
• A self starter with the ability to see things through from concept to delivery
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
• Knowledge and use of Autocad is required
• Experience with supplier and customer management
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
