Rolls-Royce Submarines is entering a once in a generation period of substantial growth and is looking for a talented and experienced engineering manager to lead in an established, long term (10+ year) UK Nuclear infrastructure programme.
The role on offer is a senior position which will have accountability for delivering of the Engineering of a major nuclear infrastructure project with a value in excess of £100M. Accountabilities will extend to safety, quality, cost, and time as part of a wider programme of equally high complexity and value (>£1bn).
You will report directly to the Head of Future Facility Engineering. You will be responsible for directing, managing and developing multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and partners as well as internal and external stakeholders. The project entails requirements capture, optioneering & down selection, development of engineering solutions, all phases of construction, commissioning, and safety case submission in support of the delivery of complex and novel nuclear manufacturing facilities on a Nuclear Licensed Site.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
