North Staffordshire based Fully Employed full time role.
Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
You will need to be from an Engineering background, able to read drawings and have the drive and ability to deliver results. We are looking for a blend of hands on engineering and commercial experience for the role so ideally you will have been a CNC Machinist or Programmer in the past and since moved into a commercial role or have been in a position that combines the two disciplines.
As Engineering Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing new and managing existing sub-contractors to fulfil the overflow of Precision Engineered components used in high value applications, therefore a hands-on Engineering Background and in-depth understanding of CNC Machining techniques is essential.
In addition to your engineering skills, to be successful in this role you will need to be a strong communicator, confident to find and secure deals with the emphasis on Quality Engineering, able to personally manage Contracts, Manufacturing, Delivery and Costs. You will be based at our facility in North Staffordshire, but will also be required to travel to visit suppliers mainly in the Midlands & North of England area. There will be further requirements to which could be further afield, across the UK for more specialist work and occasional trips overseas too.

Experience:
- An understanding of CNC Machining techniques is essential?: 2 years (preferred)
