Overview of role Location: Stoke Position: Engineering Shift Team Leader – 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights) Salary: £46,680 + overtime + pension matched up to 10% Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will provide direction and leadership to a team of two experienced engineers in the maintenance of site equipment at our bakery in Stoke. Reactive work will form a large part of the role so you will be expected to demonstrate a ‘can-do’ approach to solving problems, helping make sure that plant performance meets the business KPI’s on safety, lost time, damage and net output. We are looking for someone who can use their own initiative and be willing to develop both themselves and those around them. The successful candidate will take ownership of this role and promote a professional, knowledgeable, and helpful team when providing engineering support to other departments on site. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to progress in their career whilst continuing to be ‘hands on’.
