NuLumentek Cork is seeking an experience Lighting Designer/Engineer.

This role involves designing, specifying, and managing projects.
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: To work in collaboration with the sales team to provide support and guidance on project design ensuring meeting required customer deadlines; namely in product recommendations, lighting requirements, detailed design calculations To provide a full range of internal and external lighting calculations by applying Relux or Dialux To provide lighting control designs based on lighting scheme.
To deliver lighting and controls layouts for projects through the application of AutoCAD To accurately complete all relevant documents as and when required namely; take offs, luminaire schedules, technical submittals, datasheets To adhere to customer, industry and legal standards when producing all lighting designs.
To effectively organise the documentation of drawings and reports.
Continuously identify and effectively communicate ways to improve the lighting design service.
Work in collaboration with relevant departments to determine the correct solution to meet the customers requirements that will enable the business to obtain the order.
Education/Technical Skills High-level skills with MS Office tools, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
Indoor/outdoor lighting design experience will be an advantage Experience of using Relux /Dialux and Auto CAD will be an advantage Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Salary will be dependent on experience.
