Job Description

Here at Teaching Personnel, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to work in one of our partner schools in Henley-in-Arden. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to secondary school students, inspiring them to excel in their studies.

Location: West Midlands, Warwickshire, Henley-in-Arden

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £150 - £230 Per day ***TEACHING PERSONNEL PAY TO SCALE***

  • Plan and deliver engaging and informative English lessons to students of varying abilities
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning
  • Foster an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
  • Establish strong working relationships with colleagues to enhance the English department
  • BA (Hons) in English Language or English Literature
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) obtained
  • Previous experience and a proven track record teaching English at a secondary school level
  • Demonstrated high-quality teaching skills to inspire students
  • Strong subject knowledge of English language and literature
  • Ability to assess pupil progress and provide informative feedback
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) welcome to apply
