Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for several Lecturers in English who hold QTS in Basildon, Thurrock & Southend
We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate English teachers with high level technical abilities to contribute to innovating Maths/English delivery and enable the College to become a centre of excellence.
Reporting to the Quality Improvement & Education Managers you will be responsible for implement teaching strategies to enable students to develop skills in Maths/English and achieve high grades.
The successful applicant will be passionate about English and have the ability to inspire interest and curiosity in students and enable them to develop either basic, intermediate or advanced skills in developing students as curious learners who will become fluent in the technical complexities of English, grammar, spelling and vocabulary.
Candidates must have
- A degree in English Language, Literature or combined.
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS (You will need to be already qualified as the College does not have QTS mentors required to support)
- GCSE Grades C / 4 or higher in Maths.
- Strong and successful track of delivering GCSE English in the UK
