English Teacher
Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for English and keen to support children in removing barriers for learning?
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with the headteacher of a specialist provision for children who struggle to achieve within a mainstream setting in Rawtenstall. This provision caters for children aged 11-16, and in addition to teaching the core curriculum, they aim to equip them with the skills for their future working lives.
The role of the English teacher will be based in a KS3 – KS4 classroom setting. It will involve delivering an enriched, engaging curriculum. The lessons will be differentiated to meet the needs of the children.
What are we looking for?
- An ability to deliver English to KS3 and KS4 pupils, including Functional Skills and GCSE.
- Experience of classroom management, planning, and assessment.
- Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
This role will be on a full-time basis and is due to start in September – December. The pay scale for this role ranges from £130 - £160 p/day (dependent on experience).
