Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons for students in accordance with the school's curriculum
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the educational and emotional development of students
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to drive their academic achievement
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience
- Effectively manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and supportive environment for students
- Communicate regularly with parents and other stakeholders to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
- Stay up-to-date with developments in English teaching strategies and methodologies to enhance teaching practices
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching English to primary or secondary school students
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum and its requirements
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities and learning styles
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement in teaching practice
