Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire + remote (1-2 days in the office a week)
Duration: 6 months, possible extension
Rate: £550 - £700 depending on level of experience (outside IR35)
Urgent requirement for an Enterprise Data Architect to join a critical data management & architecture project. This is a senior level Data Architect role where you will be capturing the data landscape on an enterprise level.
Essential:
- Previous experience (approx. 5-10 yrs) as a Data Architect or Enterprise Architect or Enterprise Data Architect or similar
- Experience of creating conceptual data models and high-level data flow diagrams
- Previous experience of setting the Data strategy for an organisation
- Experience of working on a project at an enterprise level
- Experience of data warehousing
- Must be aware of impact and risk assessment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have excellent written and verbal skills
- Willing to educate the wider project team / knowledge transfer
Desirable:
- Financial services experience highly beneficial
- Experience of working on a data migration project
- Knowledge/experience of AWS and Azure
The Role:
The main responsibility of the Enterprise Data Architect is to create an Enterprise Conceptual Data Model, high level data flow diagram and start to link the business architecture, data architecture and physical systems the data sits on.
