Position Title: Enterprise Data Project Manager
Function: Enterprise Data Management – Programme Management
Role Type: Contract (6 months) Possible extension - Outside IR35 - £600/day
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Job Purpose:
As the Enterprise Data Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of multiple projects/initiatives, driving extensive business change activities within our Enterprise Data Management Portfolio. Your role is pivotal in coordinating and implementing these initiatives, ensuring effective project environments and the realization of projected benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management leadership: Oversee project planning, development, and implementation, ensuring compliance with standards and governance. Manage risks, issues, and changes, providing clear communication and guidance.
- Team Leadership: Manage project teams, ensuring adequate resources and accountability for performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, becoming a point of reference on strategic topics.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor team behaviors, identify efficiency savings, and contribute to maintaining project management best practices.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Essential: Proven experience in managing and delivering business change projects. Project/Programme management qualification (APMP/Prince2) or equivalent.
- Desirable: Strong interpersonal skills, familiarity with cloud-based technologies, and experience in technical, analytical roles. Understanding of data and digital challenges in the electricity networks sector.
