Space.com is the premier source of space exploration, innovation and astronomy news, chronicling (and celebrating) humanity's ongoing expansion across the final frontier. As part of our remit to bring space down to earth we cover the growing interest in space games and toys, movies and shows and space books, and we’re looking for an experienced editor to help boost our coverage. What you'll be doing… As the Entertainment Editor you will manage the running of our Entertainment channel, creating and commissioning content to increase output and promote traffic. Experience that will put you ahead of the curve… An in-depth knowledge of space entertainment Experience at a senior level in a content role on an editorial website Sub-editing/proofreading skills Experience managing freelancers and monthly budget management A desire to develop and grow new channels using innovative ideas and keeping informed about industry developments and trends What's in it for you… We have a number of awesome perks available to our staff. Internal job family level E5 The expected range for this role is £29,000 - £35,000 per annum.
