Health And Safety Manager

Looking to make a real impact in the energy sector? Our client, a key player in the Energy Infrastructure Division, is on the hunt for a Health And Safety Manager / SHEQ Advisor to champion safety, health, environment, and quality within their team of Infrastructure Installers. With a focus on delivering top-notch performance, particularly in health and safety, this role is perfect for someone with a background in utilities or construction, who's familiar with ISO standards like 45001, 14001, and 9001.

Your New Health And Safety Manager Role:

  • Lead a national team to ensure everyone's on board with health, safety, environment, and quality policies.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of legislative changes to keep the organisation compliant.
  • Get stuck into conversations with senior managers, clients, and others to make sure everyone knows their responsibilities and answer any tricky health and safety questions.
  • Constantly tweak and improve the health and safety management system to keep things running smoothly.

What You Bring:

  • Hands-on experience in a similar role, especially in civil engineering and utilities, with a bonus if you've worked on gas projects.
  • Got a NEBOSH accreditation or something similar? Perfect. Bonus points if you're a member of IOSH, especially if you're Chartered.
  • You're a natural influencer and can get people on board with your ideas, both inside and outside the organisation.
  • You know your stuff when it comes to health and safety laws, compliance, and regulations.

If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make a real difference in safety and quality, then we want to hear from you. Join our client's team and help ensure their energy projects across the UK are not just successful, but safe and sustainable too.
