ESG Relationship Manager - Investment Management

Our client is one of the world's leading drivers of sustainable investment. Their primary focus is to encourage investors to align their investment strategies with ESG frameworks and support their signatories in incorporating these issues into their decision-making processes.



About the Role:

· Promoting recognition and awareness for ESG issues within investment decisions across investment managers, asset owners and service providers.

· Monitoring Stake holder relationships and Signatory responsibilities to enhance implementation processes and onboarding across UK and Ireland.

· Develop relationships with key stakeholders to assist with the establishment of responsible local investment and contribute to business development strategy.

· Collaborating with various teams to work collectively on market-related issues spanning across UK and Ireland. For example, Research and Policy, Investment Practices and Reporting and Assessment.

· Increasing existing signatory base.

· Assisting on ESG strategy development, ad hoc projects relevant to the Signatories Relations team and offering representation at fundraising events.

· Assisting with presenting new and relevant research, creating material for monthly meetings and showcasing upcoming initiatives and guides.

Key Requirements:

· 2-5 years experience working within the financial services industry, ideally for an Asset Manager.

· A genuine passion for ESG issues, responsible investment and its integration into investment decisions and outcomes.

· Highly analytical, engaging and strong verbal communication skills.

· The ability to manage relationships with institutional clients, bring in new business and in help increase the signatory base.

· Big picture thinkers who can balance passion and pragmatism when involved in decision-making processes.

· Candidates will be purposeful and mission orientated, with a strong desire to be a part of something and leave a legacy for generations to come.
