Our client is a highly prestigious professional membership body based in Essex - they are currently seeking an organised and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join their team on a hybrid basis working in the office in Colchester 4 days a week from Monday - Thursday, working remotely on Fridays.

What will I be doing?

The Events Coordinator will work across a portfolio of events including conferences, workshops, seminars, and training courses both in person and virtual across Europe. This role will be crucial in ensuring events are executed to a high standard, within budget and on time with responsibility for a wide range of tasks including: venue selection; managing stakeholder and supplier relationships; on-site event set up; putting programmes together and scheduling panels.

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have proven experience in running successful events with strong project management skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle a number of tasks at once. Superb communication skills are a must as well as strong customer service skills. Any knowledge of working on professional or academic events would be an advantage in applying for this role.
