Ritzy Picturehouse are looking for an Event Manager to join their team.

The Ritzy has been at the heart of the city’s film scene for decades – and Upstairs at the Ritzy is the
scene of many a night to remember!
Premiers and filmmaker events, as well as day-to-day conferencing and parties, are an important part
of the business at The Ritzy, and with the addition of a richly diverse monthly calendar of events at
Upstairs at the Ritzy, the very highest standards in all areas, need to be maintained at all times.
The Ritzy is part of Picturehouse Cinemas who operate 26 cinemas across the UK and are a
stand-alone division of Cineworld PLC.
Vacancy
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ events experience in the entertainment sector –
preferably with local knowledge and experience.
Community is the soul of the Ritzy so we are looking for someone who ideally has experienced in
curating a diverse programme of events within the local area. You must be a confident individual who
is experienced in delivering a range of occasions from one-off, high-profile events to intimate parties
and business conferences.
Evidence of a can-do attitude and high performance must be demonstrated. Strong communication
skills are essential as is the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
The successful candidate will have experience of marketing special events. Both the food and the
beverage offering are an integral part of the experience here and a passion for and/or experience of
an F&B offering is also desirable.

There is a requirement to work 40 hours per week over any of the seven days with work at evenings
and weekends.
We offer an annual salary of circa £28,000 depending on experience.

The Events Manager is based at the Ritzy Cinema, Brixton Oval, Coldharbour Lane, SW2 1JG.
