Events & Marketing Executive - Media Publisher
4 Day Work Week - Hybrid Working
Salary up to £24k + Benefits
Our client are a leading B2B Publisher who provide news and analysis on the business of Marketing, Media & eCommerce with a specific focus on data and technology. They offer actionable market intelligence on the trends and innovations that are shaping the industries globally, and in particular across EMEA and APAC.
We are looking for an Events & Marketing Executive to join their growing Marketing team, who will report to the Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute global event series with marketing team
- Manage speaker and sponsor tickets, branding, and allocation
- Manage events platform and venue selection and set up
- Manage third-party suppliers for events
- Work with content team to promote sponsor/speaker quotes in marketing materials
- Plan and execute event branding strategy for sponsor visibility
- Plan and execute event promotion across social media, email, and other channels
- Manage our client's global awards programme
- Update internal teams on client event activities
Skills
- Experience in event management, especially on a national or global scale
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to work well in a small team and take on a wide range of tasks
- Initiative and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of web publishing tools, event management software, and creative tools is ideal but not required
- Interest in digital advertising, marketing technology, and business technology

Interview Process
First Stage – Zoom Meeting with COO & Head of Marketing
Second Stage – Short Written Task
Final Stage – Zoom Meeting with CEO & Senior Marketing Executive
