About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef - Healthcare to join our team at Hamilton Mayday. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen, including staff, costings, and budget control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and food preparation
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of residents and staff
- Ensure high-quality food presentation and presentation
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure excellent customer service
- Manage your diary and time effectively to meet deadlines and priorities
Requirements:
- Minimum 18 months of experience as a Head Chef/Chef Manager
- Experience in B&I or healthcare environment
- Ability to produce high-quality, freshly prepared food with great presentation
- Self-motivated and adaptable with a positive attitude
- Financially astute with ability to work to budget and manage costings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
