Bury has over 100 Care and Support services that on a daily basis ensure our loved ones and those in our communities, remain living independent and fulfilling lives. The level of work is increasing as our population age and the negative impacts of life on our health and wellbeing also increases. We want to ensure everyone that requires genuine support receives the best care possible in our area. We totally understand that not everyone can work full time and many people have lots of things in life that work has to fit around. This is hourly based work that is 100% flexible around your schedule but fills the vital gaps in the care and support work our community needs. It means you control the hours you work and the type of service and care you would like to provide. You might want to juggle your expertise by splitting your experience across different types of adult care, or just squeeze in a few extra or even night shifts to cover the cost of living, currently. Please apply to Bury Flex if you You have OVER 1 YEARS experience working across Health and Social Care in the UK. You LIVE within 30 minutes of public transport to Bury. You have the Right to Work in the UK until March 2025 Would like to work flexibly week to week, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week. Be prepared to attend 12 hours of training to refresh care certificate assessment and confirmation. Are interested in and able to take on secondary employment. (this could also be your only employment) Have an enhanced DBS and be willing to move this to a live status (we will cover the cost of this). Have an expired DBS and willing for us to process a new one. Are mobile and able to access our care and support services either by walking, public transport or driving and access to a car. Requirements The hours we have with Bury Flex could see you working within Reablement Learning Disabilities Mental Health Elderly Care and Dementia End of Life Complex Care Most of this work will require you to support personal care and either work within a residential, supported living or "in home" care setting. We need you to be COMPASASSIONATE, KIND, RESPECTFUL, PATIENT, ENTHUSIASTIC AND CARING. We ask that you are committed to making a difference and want to help improve lives in Bury. Benefits Hourly rates will range from £11.00 to £12.50 (there could an increase for highly complex needs) Shifts will be 8 to 40hrs plus based on availability. We offer a range of day, nights and weekend only shifts. You will have access to an App to log your availability to work. Expenses will be covered Contract of employment will sit with providers. Bury Flex is not an agency or employer. Holidays will be accrued based on hours worked and paid via PAYE direct with employer.
