Job Description

Description

Grow alongside industry veterans with unparalleled insight and technical depth in an agile, independent company created by a former Lead Programmer. Your code challenges will be quickly understood and you'll get the support you need to overcome them in no time.

Graphics programming demands a lot from hardware and your skills alike so working in a studio where the leadership team understands the specific barriers you face with graphics will see you achieve more positive, high quality outcomes, more often.

We aim to keep our interview stages at no more than 2 rounds and keep it conversational to enable us to truly understand what you’re interested in working on and give you space to learn more about us, all with no code test involved.

As a global gaming company, we’ve helped millions to fight their way through fearsome mobs in Minecraft Dungeons, battle each other and the environment in Rust Console Edition and most recently worked with Bethesda Game Studios to craft new adventures for Vault Dwellers around the world in Fallout 76.

Most recently, we worked with Rockstar Games to bring the beloved western experience Red Dead Redemption and its horror companion Undead Nightmare together for the first time on the Nintendo Switch and modern PlayStation systems.

We strive to avoid crunch. Overtime is optional and always paid, and we offer flexible working hours to allow you to enjoy a normal family life whilst making great games.

Picture this, you’ll be getting stuck in with tasks like low-level optimisations on a proprietary render pipeline, building shaders, digging into the latest API’s, imparting your knowledge to the wider code team and working hand in hand with members of our Art team on ensuring the game looks exactly as it should.

We’re seeking expertise in C++,DirectX12 and Vulkan, OpenGL, strong 3D maths matched with a variety of video games project experience and individuals keen to deliver highly optimised graphics/rendering code in an environment that prioritises quality

With a mix of highly collaborative co-development and original IP work available; our work is complex, highly varied, console/PC focused and oriented towards technical sustainability and excellence.

Your new chapter at Double Eleven will involve lots of collaboration and plenty of opportunities to share your skills with peers and includes a bespoke development plan to ensure your appetite to learn more is nurtured.

Since we are independently owned, we can put people over profit and have specific processes in place to minimise the need for crunch and actively support your work/life balance with flexible start times, a 35 hour working week, the option to work hybrid (2 days from home) and a competitive holiday allowance.

In return for your hard work, you’ll get a whole host of great benefits which includes; a competitive salary reviewed yearly, a discretionary bonus, voluntary paid overtime, parental leave support and private healthcare.

Join a world-recognised, high performance engineering team that prioritises smart and innovative problem solving, constant optimisation and well executed outcomes.

With a visa, relocation package and a dedicated relocation team on standby, submit your application today via our simple and quick application form (no registration involved). We respond to every application and query received.

Have more questions? Ramya is our dedicated Recruitment Advisor supporting this vacancy and can be contacted via or reach out via LinkedIn messenger. We're very happy to discuss salary range, working arrangement options or anything else on your mind in advance of you submitting an application.
