External Sales Engineer Manufacturing Remote Attractive salary plus bonus, pension, Company Car, Laptop, Fuel Card and Company Credit Card We are looking for a confident, hard-working Sales professional ideally with a background in manufacturing & consumable sales.

You will be: Representing the full product range of fully manufactured parts to consumables this will be a role with scope and opportunity for growth.
The successful applicant will undergo comprehensive training to fully familiarise themselves with this Client s processes both from an administrative viewpoint and a manufacturing one.
During this time, the successful applicant will also shadow the existing external team to customers within the various industries they service.
With responsibility for a geographic area in the UK this will be a role with a degree of flexibility re location but will also require the candidate to manage workloads and customer demands.
There will be a long-term training plan to support where required and continued support from the existing team and Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities Management of customers Following up quotations Maintaining visit logs Territory management Provide technical support to internal sales when required.
Submit regular reports to Sales Manager Maintain contact with customers.
Develop relationships with customers.
Find new customers in existing industries.
Continually look for new markets The successful applicant will Be self-motivated, tenacious, confident and results orientated.
Have a full, clean UK driving licence.
Be able to work on own initiative.
Be comfortable meeting new people.
Be comfortable dealing with objections.
Preferably have a background in or some knowledge of Engineering The successful applicant would be home based but welcome to have office days at either site.
You would also be expected to have overnight stays away from home occasionally.
