Job descriptionEYFS SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: LincolnSalary: £ - £ Per dayStart: ASAPGSL Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Lincoln.Job SummaryAssist in planning and implementing educational activities tailored to the needs of SEN children.Support the child's learning and development within the EYFS framework, ensuring they can access the curriculum at their level.Ensure the learning environment is safe, supportive, and conducive to learning for all children, particularly those with SEN.Implement safeguarding policies and procedures.Responsibilities:Provide one-on-one and group support to children with special educational needs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).Assist the class teacher in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Help with the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities.Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.Foster a safe and positive classroom atmosphere.The successful candidate will:Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within the EYFS framework.Previous experience with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are advantageous.Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.For more information or to register your interest in ‘EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant’ role, or to be considered, please click ‘apply now’ to submit your full and up-to-date CV, and one of our dedicated consultants, will be in touch.
