Global E&C have requirements for Fabrication Project Engineers to join the team on a permanent basis in Aberdeen.
We currently have 2 opportunities and are looking for 1 Piping bias and 1 Structural bias.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking a range of tasks suited to the current level of training and development within the Project Engineering function.
- Undertaking project estimating, quotation and follow up.
- Completing and maintaining Project Files, Job Pack and Slingshot data.
- Sourcing and procuring materials & services as required.
- Assuming full technical & commercial project responsibility.
- Managing project costs and collating variations in a timely manner.
- Ensuring timely completion and delivery of projects.
- Maintaining relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Attending and contributing to Production and Progress Meetings.
- Initiating commercial invoicing of projects.
To be considered for these opportunities you should be able to demonstrate:
- Good level of secondary/higher school education.
- Previous experience in the Fabrication industry, ideally in piping or structural discipline focussed roles.
- Ability to multi-task and work to agreed schedules.
- Excellent attention to detail, diligence, and self-discipline.
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels (verbal and written English.)
