Job Description
NRL are currently resourcing for a Fabrication Workshop Project Engineer at Sheffield dealing with Nuclear standard fabrications and heavy industry restoration projects based out of the client’s workshop there.
About the role:
- Project Engineer should be conversant with working in an engineering workshop environment undertaking fabrication and welding projects to BS1090 & BS3834 for the nuclear and specialist sectors.
- Workshop/ fabshop experience supporting the projects within the fabrication workshop.
What you will need:
- A self-starter you should have experience of the full life cycle of fabrication projects from undertaking drawing reviews with our clients' in-house design team, scheduling, material take-offs/raising purchase requisitions, production of job packs and the management of the project through the workshop supervision team and blue-collar trades.
- Experience working as a Workshop/ Fabshop Project Engineer or Fabrication bias Project Engineer.
- Applicants should be able to work within the requirements of ISO 9001 & 14001 that form the basis of our clients' quality systems.
- Qualified to relevant level in Engineering, Welding, Fabrication or Mechanical bias (essential).
- Experience working on heavy industry sites or fabrication workshops (desirable).
- Supervisor qualifications (desirable).
- CSCS card (desirable).
- CCNSG or IOSH safety certs (desirable).
