With our team of in-house façade designers and engineers, along with the expertise of our selected global partners, we are able to engage with architects, consultants and developers to provide solutions in accordance with design requirements, instead of adjusting the requirements based on the availability and technical limitations of the local market.
We aim to solve the most challenging design problems associated with the external envelope by engaging with our international partners to deliver the most optimum solution the design requires.
We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Facade Project Manager to join our team in the UAE.
Responsibilities
The individual will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Study project details including drawing and specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
- Prepare and submit progress reports with allocated planner, or cost tracking reports with allocated QS.
- Review tenders for sub-contracting services and/or materials needed.
- Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines with allocated planning resource.
- Coordinate on-site activities according to project’s planning.
- Coordinate with design to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures or construction problems.
- Coordinate design to conform with specifications, production limitations Etc.
- Providing one point of contact for the whole subcontract.
- Realize project from original concept through final implementation.
- Ensure all the equipment, vehicles & installation tools required to execute the works is available as per the project planning
- To supervise other site engineers and Foremen managing the installation at site.
- Understand the client Commercial requirements and be commercially aware.
- Guide your allocated QAQC engineer in Preparing Inspection & Test Plan, Quality Control Procedures and Method statements based on the requirements for fabrication and Installation activities.
- Directing the day-to-day coordination of installation and fabrication sub-contractors to ensure they turn out high-quality work that meets the approved project schedule.
- Providing support for the total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, scope and schedule.
- Coordinating with the overall project schedule requirements.
- Ensuring appropriate design/construction coordination is completed
- Identifying long lead items which may affect the project schedule.
- Assisting in the development of a comprehensive project budget and schedule.
- Monitoring subcontractor performance for quality assurance and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Coordinating all work related to the local authorities and local utilities.
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of the final project report, and prompt closeout of warranty information, as-built drawings & equipment manuals.
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- 8 - 10 year experience with a facade contractor
- Excellent communication skills
- Expert knowledge of construction methods
- Excellent Management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Construction Finance
- Good computer skills, proficient with MS Office applications
