Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to manage and improve the facilities of a historic building in the heart of London?

Look no further than the Facilities Manager role at our client's historic site.

As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing the appearance, facilities, services, maintenance, and safety of the building as well as the central administrative office of this charity.

You will ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and recommend and coordinate improvements to ensure a safe, functional, and appealing space. You will manage a third-party facilities management company and liaise with tenants to ensure facilities meet their requirements and that invoices are issued as necessary.

You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Caretaker and the Chief Operating Officer to schedule periodic testing and servicing of building systems, identify and scope necessary building improvements, manage facilities budgets, act as the lead for health and safety in the building, and manage letting agreements and tenancy renewals in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to work with the to support the implementation of environmental initiatives in the building, promote a welcoming, clean, and tidy appearance to all public areas in the building and maintain a customer service culture that fosters continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have experience in facilities management, line management, and procurement and contract management. You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and have a passion for promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. You will also have experience in health and safety and safeguarding practice, as well as experience in managing budgets and working with third-party contractors.
