The role:

MAG Property is the property and development arm of MAG providing high-quality space in offices, terminals, warehouses across Manchester, East Midlands, and Stansted Airports. 

This role will support the delivery of facilities management services for the Property estate at Stansted Airport. You will have the responsibility of managing the service contract for our facilities inline with NEC3 Term Service Contract. You will make sure that our buildings meet statutory requirements and offer a safe and comfortable environment for our colleagues and customers. 

You will also manage the daily operations of hard and soft services through our service partners and carry out minor improvement works. You will perform regular building audits, manage risks, communicate with insurers and health and safety consultants, and collaborate with asset managers on new lettings, voids and dilapidations.

You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and how the property portfolio can support their business. This is in addition to proactively handling customer queries and building strong relationships with them.

What will make you successful in the role?

To succeed in this role, you will need to have at least 5 years’ experience and technical knowledge of building systems and infrastructure, as well as experience of managing both hard and soft facilities.

You will also be able to organise and deliver high-quality services in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment. You will be a self-motivated and positive person who can work independently and influence others.

You shall be a member of the Institute of Workplace Facilities Management and it’s desirable to have NEBOSH General Certificate qualification.
