We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager on a 12–18-month fixed term contract basis to manage a site move for our Basingstoke manufacturing facility. The Role As Project Manager, you will devise, implement and execute a detailed project plan according to established timelines. This will include machinery M&E and office fit outs. Key duties. Continuously monitoring the project progress and ensure adherence with the project scope, budget and deadlines. Managing the quality and timeliness of a broad variety of projects across Real Estate, Facilities Management and CAPEX and provide financial reporting Creating and managing project budgets. Allocating resources effectively to maximize efficiency and ensure projects are delivered within budget. Ensuring projects comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations and company policies. Effectively collaborating with internal teams and managing external stakeholders. Identifying areas for continuous improvement focusing on both processes and efficiencies. Managing projects from input to design specification, tender, installation to commissioning, practical completion, handover, and invoicing. Attending Steer-Co and project meetings to discuss overarching project strategies and progress. Minimising disruption to the clinical continuity and mitigate / control project specific risks from unavailability and service performance deductions What can we offer you? To be considered for the Project Manager role you will have the following: Essential skills and experience: Experience delivering a project from the design phase through to delivery Experience with mixed use new build projects, fit and refurbishment an advantage Experience of managing hard services FM projects ideally within manufacturing Operational and technical experience with demonstrated potential Technical expertise, qualifications or apprenticeship in a craft skill or engineering discipline Proven experience in Project Management and successful delivery of multitask building services related projects Hold sufficient Health and Safety (CDM) experience that allows the effective running of projects. Negotiation, risk management, compliance and contract management experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective stakeholder management acumen. Contract management experience. Understanding of the development cycle (business case, design, consents, procurement, delivery, handover and project management).
