Senior Roads Development Officer-Falkirk Council This is an opportunity to play a key role within Roads Development across the Falkirk Council area. We have a vacancy within our Network team and require a Senior Roads Development Officer to assist in the delivery of new Road development projects across the Falkirk area.
The postholder will provide a full range of statutory roads development services including providing planning advice to developers on all roads related issues, approval & issue of road construction consents and inspection of developer road work sites. The role also includes liaising with internal & external stakeholders & clients throughout projects. You will hold an HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent discipline), you will hold a membership with a relevant institution and you will have knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, the road construction consent process and the planning process. You will have good organisational and problem-solving skills, along with experience of current health & safety regulations and data protection legislation. You will be IT literate, have good interpersonal and report writing skills, and be able to contribute to financial management processes. You are required to be flexible, innovative and reactive to public demands and pressures. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £34,957.00-£38,256.00 per year Schedule:* 10 hour shift
