My client is recruiting for a senior associate in family law to join their team in Maidenhead.

Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity

The firm works largely in the US and is currently expanding its team in Berkshire. With offices in the UK and US, the firm prides itself on its claimant oriented ethos and is a company that is genuinely acting to improve the lives of those who have suffered injustices. Some case examples include representing the female victims in relation to the Warwick university "rape chat"; representing a British couple in a discrimination case when they were told they couldn't adopt a white child; representing a famous youtuber in a revenge porn case; etc. This gives you the opportunity to join a successful firm who are genuinely giving something back.

You will be a "full-service lawyer", working from the first intake meeting to the end of the case, specialising in divorce and other family work, but willing to take on other clients from time to time. As a senior member of the team you will also be responsible for the mentoring and training of juniors, as well as business development.

The firm are offering this role on either a permanent or consultancy basis. They are offering market leading salaries/fee share percentages and benefits packages.

To be successful in your application, you will:

  • Be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive.
  • Have at least 5 years' PQE in family law (however, less experienced candidates are also invited to apply).
  • Have received training from a reputable source and have strong academics.
  • Be genuinely passionate about helping others and abide with the firm's ethos.

This is a rare opportunity to join a hugely forward thinking firm at an exciting time of growth.
