As a Family Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in representing clients in a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, financial settlements, domestic violence, adoption, and surrogacy. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice, representing clients in court proceedings, and negotiating favorable resolutions on their behalf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting client consultations and assessing their legal needs
- Drafting legal documents, including petitions, affidavits, and settlement agreements
- Representing clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the legal process
- Collaborating with colleagues and external stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
- Staying abreast of developments in family law and maintaining professional competency
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with a valid practicing certificate
- Proven experience in handling a variety of family law cases
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills
- Empathetic approach and ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
