Our Family department is highly rated in both Chambers and the Legal 500 and we are looking to strengthen its team with the recruitment of an experienced Family lawyer to assist with its strategic expansion.
We have a rare opportunity for a solicitor, ideally operating at Senior Associate or Legal Director level (although we are open to receiving applications from any senior PQE levels) to join Cumbria’s leading Family team who have a thriving Private Client practice. This is an opportunity to take a leading role in the team. The successful candidate can work from either of our Newcastle or Carlisle offices with flexible working options.
Who are we looking for?
You will be involved in a range of Family work, concentrating on divorce and finances as well as private law children’s work. We have a strong reputation in dealing with financial work involving businesses and farms as well as representing and advising professionals and uniformed services, particularly with reference to their pensions.
As an experienced lawyer, you will have strong technical expertise, a commercial approach and the ability to build effective relationships. Whilst a following is not required, a network of contacts would be an advantage. You will have experience of, and enjoy being the first point of contact for clients.
