Role: SEND Teacher Start Date: September 2024 Contract: Fixed term, 1 year initially, Full time Salary: MPS + SEN Allowance Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teacher to join our vibrant and welcoming primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead our SEND specific provision and work with a small class of mixed ability children, particularly those with autism. About the Role: In this rewarding role, you will: Lead SEND specific provision, ensuring high standards for all pupils. Support and monitor the progress of pupils with SEND, ensuring improvements relative to their peers. Analyse and interpret school, local, and national data to inform practices. Liaise with staff, parents, external agencies, and other schools to provide maximum support and ensure continuity of provision. Contribute to the school ethos by creating an autism-friendly environment and leading classroom displays. Key Responsibilities: Take full classroom responsibilities including planning and liaising with parents. Work with other adults within the class to support children with complex needs. Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment for all students.
