  • Current: FD&D Shipping Solicitor (Newcastle)

We are currently looking for an FD&D Solicitor to join our FD&D team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in our Newcastle office with the option to work flexibly.

What are we looking for?

In this role you will be dealing with a wide variety of contractual and tortious claims for our global membership of ship owners and operators. Given the worldwide nature of shipping, this role involves handling legal proceedings in numerous jurisdictions, travel both in the UK and abroad, building relationships with Members and attending external events.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across business areas and throughout the organisation. The ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail is essential.
