Job summary One Health is looking for a fellowship-trained Foot and Ankle Surgeon tosupport and grow the One Health Group Orthopaedic Team in South and West Yorkshire.The successful candidate will have experience working within a similarrole in a private or NHS setting. You should have a professional outlook,empathetic telephone manner and understand the importance of patientconfidentiality.You shouldcurrently be in a substantive NHS post OR in a long-term locum post (more than12 months)If not in currentNHS post, should have been a substantive NHS consultant for at least 3 yearsbefore leaving the NHSOn GMC register andhave no hearings or restrictionsShould haverelevant sub specialist qualifications (FRCS {orth})Be on thespecialist register Main duties of the job This role will involve assessing andoperating on NHS patients referred to One Health, via the NHS e-ReferralSystem. Appointments will be held across a number of outreach clinic sites,with a focus on South and West Yorkshire, with operations taking place within arange of independent sector hospitals. Therole will involve assessing and operating on NHS patients referred to OneHealth via the NHS e-Referral System. All surgeons who work with One Healthwill be subject to our onboarding process and approval from our ClinicalGovernance Lead. Practicing Privileges will be required to be obtained for eachhospital where procedures are undertaken. Themajority of the work undertaken will be in South and West Yorkshire and theConsultant must be prepared to travel.
