Due to continued growth, our client, a leading manufacturer of rotating machinery are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer into their team. The role will involve travel in the UK, Europe, and America so all applicants must be willing to spend time away from home. The role will be a 60/40 split between UK and overseas travel. Duties:Service, commissioning, and installation of machineryPreventive maintenance Technical support, via phone, email, or on-site visits, guiding customers through operational challenges and offering comprehensive product knowledgeTravel across the UK, Europe, and AmericaCould spend up to 3 weeks in America at any one time followed by a period in the UK at the factory or customer sites1 - 2 weeks in Europe followed by a period in the UK at the factory or customer sitesTo be considered for this exciting Field Service Engineer role you will need the following experience:Mechanical background with experience of moving partsSolid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and control systems, with the ability to read technical drawings and schematicsExperience working with bearings and moving partsA background working on machinery would be advantageousQualification in engineeringUK driving licenceBenefits:Earnings up to £45,000 per annumDoor to door payAll tools providedAll travel paid for plus company credit cardExcellent career opportunitiesAll training provided
