Job Description

My Sheffield based client are recruiting for an experienced Finance Administrator to join their established team . The successful candidate will ensure that all tasks are completed on time and accurately and have the ability to manage their own workload and meet time critical deadlines. 

Reporting to the Finance Manager you must have exceptional organisational skills and be able to demonstrate high attention to detail. You will a commercial outlook maintaining business standards are maintained at all times.

  • Maintenance of purchase ledger
  • Coding, matching and posting of invoices
  • Payment runs, via BACS and cheques
  • Monthly expenses
  • Reconciliation of statements
  • Reconciliation of numerous company bank accounts
  • Producing month end reports
  • Petty cash control
  • Process and maintain sales ledger control account
  • Posting of departmental budgets
  • Liaising with directors, managers and external suppliers
  • Producing reports

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience working as a Finance Administrator
  • Working Knowledge of SAGE
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
