Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced finance professional to become a trusted advisor providing financial insights, analysis, support, and advice to business leaders to drive actions and decisions to achieve business goals. About the team

Our growing FP&A team is a collective of creative, strategic, forward-thinking business enablers. We are the bridge between finance and the partners leading the various business units and help with making strategic decisions. There is a growing culture focusing around reporting, data analysis and the accuracy to support the leadership team. As part of this there is a need to hire an Analyst to support a high growth area of the business.

About the role

• Financial Analysis: Support preparation of financial analysis including, trends, performance indicators and variance analysis. Turning data into digestible information suitable for a senior audience
• Financial Modelling: Support the development of financial models and contribute to continuous improvement to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Financial Reporting of performance, trends with insightful commentary.
• Being proactive in helping the business identifying issues, trends and suggesting solutions to drive actions
• Support the business in preparing pricing proposals
• Support firmwide accounting compliance with income recognition principles
• Financial cost reconciliations
• Support the firm in preparing reliable budgets and forecasts
• Support development of dashboards to contribute towards report improvements..

What are we looking for?

• Experienced in handling and accurately consolidating data/financial information
• Excellent excel skills
• Experience of Power BI (preferable) or willingness to learn
• Enthusiasm to enhance expertise and knowledge, through training and working closely with the business
• Natural curiosity to explore variances and trends identified through their own analysis
• Experience of Anaplan (preferable) or willingness to learn
• Previous experience or understanding of a professional services business
• Hold a recognised accounting qualification (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA) or be in the process of studying for one (preferable).
