Role purpose

We are looking for a detail-oriented and control minded Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance and Treasury team. This role needs someone who is a self-starter and self-finisher, who excels in taking a task and fully developing it into insight, with accompanying reports and presentations. You’ll monitor financial performance of the Bank and reporting financial information and partner other members of the business by supporting the budgeting processes, and contribute to a culture which values data by processing data assets accurately, and in accordance our policy and procedures.


As Finance Analyst you will find yourself:

  • Assist in the financial record-keeping of the Bank
  • Perform reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy in financial records
  • Assisting in the purchase to pay processes of the Bank
  • Assisting treasury operations to manage payment processes
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reporting, comparing achieved results with financial plans and identifying and communicating insights
  • Analysing financial results and identifying trends to help improve the Bank’s financial performance, and partnering with the wider business stakeholders
  • Developing automated accounting processes to help increase productivity and business efficiency
  • Handle miscellaneous financial administration tasks as they arise, providing flexible support to the finance team


Skills and experience - you are/will have most of the following:

  • A relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Experience in financial planning, analysis, and modelling
  • The ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Great working knowledge of Accounting Software, Excel, Power Point and Word.
  • Experience of providing future insights into any potential opportunities/risks through interaction with the business
  • Experience of supporting monthly reporting production, validation and reviews
  • Ensure all data assets are processed accurately and in accordance with legislation and that all mandated training is completed within the allotted timeframes

What else do I need to know?


Location: You will predominately work from home but will be required to travel to our offices when your role requires this.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum

Hours: 35 hrs per week
